Invercargill/Southland LandSAR has run loosely for many years now but from 2008 began to formalise into the professional national body that exists today.

Out group consists of many skilled and qualified individuals.

Our main region of cover is the southern coast up to around Te WaeWae bay to Fortrose.

The Southland groups work in together and there is structured allocations in the Southern region of the Police on which group is called to an incident. With many of the callouts it is common for two or more groups to work together for the most beneficial outcome.
